Disney+ and Hulu gave a series order to a Glee reboot on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. It comes from 20th Television, the studio behind the original Fox series that ran six seasons from 2009 to 2015. The original cast also included Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Kevin McHale, Matthew Morrison, Dianna Agron, Amber Riley, Darren Criss and Jenna Ushkowitz. None of them had been confirmed for the reboot as of October 24. Colfer has said publicly that a reboot would be hard without the late Naya Rivera.
