Fubo has a new option for fans who want their home team without paying for a giant channel lineup. On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, Fubo launched My Local Sports, an add-on that lets Fubo Sports subscribers in select markets add their local regional sports network (RSN), plus a selection of sports-focused free, ad-supported (FAST) channels.

What is Fubo My Local Sports?
My Local Sports is an add-on, not a standalone plan. It sits on top of Fubo Sports, Fubo's lighter sports plan that launched in September 2025 with 20+ sports and broadcast networks, including ESPN Unlimited. The add-on gives you:
- Your local RSN, where one is available in your market
- A selection of sports-focused FAST channels
Like any RSN, it is in-market only. Fubo decides which regional networks you get based on the home ZIP code on your account, and you cannot add another area's RSN.
How much does My Local Sports cost?
Fubo has not announced one national price. Add-on pricing varies by market. The base Fubo Sports plan is $64.99 per month for new customers after a free trial, with the first month at $54.99. So your total is $64.99 plus your market's add-on price, plus any taxes.

Start by checking your ZIP code, since the add-on is only offered in select markets and your RSN depends on where you live. Then add My Local Sports to a Fubo Sports plan. The price you see is based on your market.
How DIRECTV carries local RSNs
DIRECTV takes a different approach. It offers local sports on both satellite and streaming:
- Satellite: available RSNs are included starting with the CHOICE package. A regional sports fee applies, and the amount depends on your ZIP code.
- Streaming: the MySports Genre Pack includes ESPN Unlimited, and MyHome Team is a $19.99-per-month add-on for MySports that adds your in-market MLB, NBA or NHL team.

Where Fubo has an edge right now
To be fair, hockey fans in four markets should look closely. On September 28, Fubo signed a multi-year deal with the NHL to carry the Hurricanes Hockey Network, Blue Jackets Hockey Network, Blue Note+ and Wild+. The NHL says it is still in talks with additional cable and satellite providers for those networks, so if you follow the Hurricanes, Blue Jackets, Blues or Wild, check where your team is available before you choose.
