110% PRICE GUARANTEE
If at any time during the first thirty (30) days after delivery of your purchase, you find the same product for less, bring
in your original receipt and written proof of the lower price and we will refund you the difference plus an additional
10% of the difference. Comparisons must be made on the same model available for sale on the same terms and
conditions to the general public in American’s market area. This price guarantee does not apply to special finance and
bonus offers, mail order, internet sales, products under a supplier’s unilateral minimum resale price policy, American’s
Employee Family or Special Discount Check offers, or product which is used, demonstrator models, product in
manufacturer’s rebate programs or going out of business sales, competitors’ “limited quantity” items, or out-of-stock
items having no rain check availability.
EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
Products may be returned for a refund or exchange within 15 days subject to the following. To qualify, product must
be returned in new condition with your receipt. The original box and packing must be returned in new condition or
a 15% restocking charge applies. The first day of all return periods is the day of delivery of your product. Any
refunds will be made in the method you paid, with the exception that large cash refunds may be issued as a refund
check. Refund checks will be mailed to the receipt address 7-10 business days after the pending refund has been
approved. Credit card refunds will be issued 3-5 business days after the pending refund has been approved.
Other terms and conditions:
- Services such as home delivery and setup, hook-up charges and installation fees are not refundable.
- Performance Guarantees may be canceled for a full refund within 30 days. See your Performance
Guarantee Plan for details.
- Computer software, DVD software, video games, sleep products, and special orders are not
returnable.
- Camcorders, radar detectors, notebook and tablet computers, MP3 players, CD recorders, digital cameras, GPS systems and air conditioners may be returned for a refund or exchange within 5 days.
- Printers are subject to a 15% restocking charge if the ink cartridge, toner, drum and/or developer
have been used.
- Products that have been neglected, misused or abused are not returnable. This includes items
damaged from liquids, or where bad odors (tobacco, smoke, pet, etc.) exist.
- If a product has been misused, abused or damaged by the customer and American is unable to
perform repairs under the manufacturer’s warranty, or if the manufacturer is unable to supply
replacement parts, no credit or exchange will be issued.
- Products returned without UPC label are subject to a re-stocking fee equal to any applicable
manufacturer mail-in rebate.
- Due to product changes from manufacturers, American reserves the right to offer refunds or product substitutions if an exact replacement product is no longer available.
PRODUCT REPAIRS AND INSTALLATION
Your purchase is warranted by the manufacturer. American’s Service Center is available to help you obtain the benefit
of the Manufacturer’s Warranty. Please contact American’s Service Center at the number listed on our website for
scheduling In-Home Service, or for questions regarding carry in product repairs. UNLESS YOU PURCHASED A
PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE, YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS WITH THE MANUFACTURER.
AMERICAN MAKES NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED AND DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR
IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS. In Home product installations are warranted
against defects in workmanship for a period of 90 days from the completion of the installation. Mobile electronics,
products installed into a vehicle, boat, motorcycle, etc, include a limited lifetime warranty against defects in
workmanship from the completion of the installation. American’s installation warranties do not include any warranty
on parts or equipment.
