Wheatland Electric Cooperative was organized in 1938 in southeastern Wyoming as an electric cooperative. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life for their members through dependable, reliable, competitively priced energy and related services consistent with cooperative principles.
Wheatland Electric covers approximately 7,600 miles of line, serving over 17,500 members in Wyoming and Colorado. In addition, they provide broadband internet to parts of Wyoming.
Wheatland Electric offers reliable fiber internet service with speeds up to 1 Gig (1,000 Mbps). They provide fiber connections directly to each member's home or business, rather than through a home phone line. This offers a more consistent connection with better reliability and speeds.
